AUSTRIA, 12/13/03 -- First class snowboarding impressed the 12.000 spectators at the Worlds most famous Snowboard big air competition, the "Air&Style", which took place the 11th time in Seefeld, Austria on Saturday 13 December 2003. 17 year old Californian Shaun White from San Diego succeeded with a tremendous backflip in the final, while leader Marc-Andre Tarte from Canada crashed in the finals but once landed an amazing 1260°. Finally he became 5th.

White won 10.000 euros prize money and the “Ring of Glory”. Finnish Joni Malmi landed second and Swiss Nicolas Mueller has hit the third place. A nice one-footer catapulted Austrian Friedl Kolar on 4th place.
