Surf spots North West WA: Surf Atlas - Onlineboarding.com
The North West surfing region is one of the harshest in Australia.
Here you'll find constant swell, deserts and a solid crew of locals.
Knowing where to go is just the start in in this coast full of long
points and reefs.
There are a variety of breaks off-shore such as Hell's Gate which
breaks 1km in front of Point Moore Light House. Breaking right over a
shallow reef it's well known as a board breaker.
Travel 3km south of Kalbarri and you'll find Jakes Point. It's a thick
left that holds 15ft and breaks for 200m. You'll need some size in
your board to negotiate the drop.
Further north between Carnarvon and Exmouth there's world class breaks
such as Gnaraloo and Red Bluff.
