Surf spots Brazil: Surf Atlas - Onlineboarding.com
The amount of pro surfers that come from Brazil would suggest that it
is a strong surfing country. From the packed beaches of Rio to the
pleasant waters of Santa Catarina, Brazil offers so many waves.
Go to
the town of Recife and you'll find an entire stretch of coast (60kn)
closed supposedly due to shark attacks. More likely due to some weird
politics.
Head
to Santa Catarina south of Sao Paulo for the country's best variety of
waves within a short distance. It has a massive swell window and
provides quality waves all year round.
In
the north east of the country, you'll find the most relaxed beaches
but probably not the same wave size and consistency as in the south.
